Growers are busy getting the remaining pecans in and ready to be offered. Buyers are out
looking as the season appears to be short and volume not as high as hoped for earlier. Cool
temperatures for the rest of the week with most days in the mid-60s cooling into the 50s for
next Tuesday. Rain expected for the weekend has growers trying to stay one step ahead of it
as movement and sales are still on the slow side considering it is a holiday month, but
growers should be done by the end of this month.
